What is Tantric Birth Support?
Phoebe Grant and I team up to offer you our tantric doula service. We help you to experience an empowered and joyful pregnancy, birth, and postnatal period.
We understand that this may be one of the most important phases in your life so we take great care to ensure you feel listened to, respected, and as resourced as possible.
Whether you are preparing for free birth, home birth, or hospital birth, we’ll be there with you throughout your childbearing year with unwavering faith in your power.
Why is tantric birth support so powerful?
Every person in their childbearing year deserves more support than our society typically offers.
There’s a misconception that it is “woo woo” to have a doula and that the midwives can do it all. In reality, the midwives are primarily there to offer medical interventions which is a very important role when needed. However, as tantric birthkeepers, we do what the midwives often don’t have time or training for:
Ensuring your body is nurtured with nutritious food and drinks, loving touch if desired, and the comfort and care needed for rest
Emotional support and experienced guidance with processing any stories, pressures, fears, self-doubt, traumas, and blocks to you knowing your most empowered and joyful self
Setting the tone so the atmosphere doesn't feel heavy and you can relax your mind knowing there’s an abundance of love and oxytocin flowing through your body encouraging the waves which welcome your baby earthside
Helping you to access your intuition so you can feel clear on your preferences and trust yourself if things change so you can go with the flow
Advocating for your birth preferences and helping you to make informed choices by ensuring medical jargon is brought down to earth
Discovering which tools help you drop into the altered state of consciousness which can arise in the birth portal to help you connect with your body and your baby which can be similar to the tools you use during menstruation or big emotional processes
Trusting your ability to birth with love regardless of how your baby comes earthside
Empowering you to connect with mother nature and your sexual energy so you can meet any pain with the knowing that it is part of a sacred process which can potentially be released into a pleasurable, orgasmic birth experience!

Step 1: Book your Discovery Session (complementary)
You can get to know us, share how you’re feeling and what your desires are, ask us any questions, and ultimately, decide if we’re the right doulas for you. If all feels good, you can request an invoice for your investment in Tantric Birth Support.
Step 2: Book your three prenatal sessions (£750)
In these 2-hour sessions we will meet in-person so we can bond as a birthing team and explore: your birth preferences; prepping nutritious food and drinks for birth; your postnatal plan; any emotions you are experiencing; therapeutic yoga for any physical discomfort in your pregnancy; Womb Tantra tools for birth (which you can learn more about on the Living Temple Course page); and at home practices for deep rest and practicing altered states.
Step 3: Decide whether you’d like optional extras prenatally
a) 1:1 Sexual Empowerment Mentoring is helpful for people who have experienced sexual or birth trauma, who want to feel deeply connected to their sexual energy during birth, and for those considering free birth as this can require more preparation than we can cover in the included three prenatal sessions. (£450+)
b) Phoebe offers pregnancy massage which can help you to deeply relax, release tension, and feel cared for as your body changes. (£75-£105)
c) We can organise and host your Mother’s Blessing Ceremony where your closest friends and family members will gather to honour, empower, and shower you with love as you move through this monumental time in your life! (bespoke pricing)
Step 4: We’re on call for you for six weeks (£2500)
You’ll let us know your due date, or we’ll make our best guess if you’re having a wild pregnancy. We’ll block out our doula calendars for three weeks either side (and will extend this if needed) so we can be devoted to supporting you. During this time, you can message or call us if your birth portal is opening or if you have any concerns and one of us will get back to you within 5-30 minutes and can be with you in-person within 30-60 minutes.
Step 5: We support your birth (£1800)
When your birth portal is opening, we will come to help you set the tone in the space. Every 12 hours or so, Phoebe and I will swap so that we can offer you our fullest energy. This can also significantly reduce any concerns you may have about your doula not being able to get to you for any reason as there is always a back up doula waiting in the wings! We plan for up to 3 days but will extend if needed.
Step 6: Book your three postnatal sessions (£750)
In these 2-hour sessions we will: support you to feel confident with breastfeeding and discuss alternatives if that’s right for you; empower you in your parenting choices; offer therapeutic yoga to nurture your body; ensure you are receiving the nutrients and nurturing you deserve; explore any emotions you may be experiencing; and talk through and celebrate your experience together!
Step 7: Decide whether you’d like optional extras postnatally
a) 1:1 Sexual Empowerment Mentoring is helpful for people who would like to feel deeply connected to their sensual aliveness as they transition into parenthood. (£450+)
b) Phoebe offers postnatal massage which can help your body heal, calm your nervous system, and give you a moment to breathe in the early days of motherhood. (£75-£105)
c) We can host a rohipping ceremony known as closing the bones which is a sacred practice designed to support postpartum healing and rejuvenation. (£105)
